The CAM series professional hacksaws come with a sheath with a swivel buckle. The blades are made of high-carbon steel with a hard chromium coating to increase branch penetration and prevent rust. The clean, precise cut leaves the wood surface smooth and polished, preventing infection and allowing the branch to heal quickly. The teeth are ground on three planes and pulse-hardened to maximize their sharpness. The blade's special "flared" finish is designed to improve branch penetration while dramatically reducing friction.
