These accessories are high quality built and well engineered

The extension rod locks the shears onto a half-shell, eliminating the strain on the quick-release battery mount. This is a feature of very few companies on the market. Most extension rods only engage the battery mount, which over time, due to strain, creates play on the mount or, worse, breaks the shears' shell and ruins the mount on the rod.
